Stephen M. Szabo has designed and produced high quality custom cabinetry, architectural millwork and furniture using a significant variety of materials and techniques for over thirty years. In 1988 he and Keith Fosnock became partners and started their own company, Appleton Woodworking, which became highly successful and maintained a reputation for the highest standards and a keen ability to work with clients, architects, designers, builders and contractors throughout Boston and the North Shore.
In 2002 Szabo and his partner sold Appleton Woodworking successfully. Subsequently Szabo had major role in the conception and successful growth of a new custom cabinet and architectural millwork shop on the north shore.
In addition to building an impressive portfolio of professional work, Szabo has been actively involved in related fields including teaching at, among other places, the Boston Architectural Center in Boston, Massachusetts. His work has been featured in several articles related to his profession and in such prestigious magazines as "Better Homes and Gardens" and "Women's Day". Steve is conversant in Cabinet Vision and CAD computer programs to further implement his design vision and holds a Current Massachusetts Builders License and Home Improvement Contractors Registration.
